We strongly encourage you to think up an original idea for them, but if you'd prefer to work off prompts, here are some things we'd really like to read!
- Yearning romance; any and all, we'll take it- pining from either side, and coping with the difficulty of their 'so near but so far' circumstances.
- Kincaid sneaking an incognito Seneca out of the palace for an adventure of any kind.
- General security concerns or threats to Seneca, with Kincaid protective and doing his job. Also: Kincaid getting dragged around via his work to all the odd ceremonies Seneca has to attend as king.
- Kingly visits up north, and/or Kincaid and Seneca coping with the harsh northern winters of Gensval- winter scenes/celebrations, curled up in front of fireplaces with warm drinks, complaining to each other out in the cold, dumping snow down the back of each other's collars.
- Cute happy fluff pieces: catching frogs, cheering each other up after hard days, making daisy chains while shooting the breeze out in the sun together.
- Sneaking out on a clandestine trip to the picturesque and steep mountains, and Kincaid having to contend with Seneca's terrifying driving. (and/or: Only when they're truly alone out in the wilderness are they allowed to be romantic.)
- Interactions at galas/balls (yes they most certainly can share a dance), parades, formal events where they're in uniform.
- Having fun, playing football (soccer) and/or hanging out in the courtyard where they used to spend a lot of time together.
- Kincaid trying to adjust to Gensvalian culture, e.g. Kincaid trying out different types of fruit and vegetable produce in Gensval (he has never seen that much variety before) and discovering that he's not a that big of a fan. Seneca tries to change his mind.
- Their formative first years together: anything set in their two years of relative isolation at the palace; Kincaid realizing he's fallen in love again, taking care of Seneca in his own way and making sure Seneca has a place to vent, listening to his ideas and supporting him; Seneca having to reassure Kincaid that he won't be shipped back to Arthevic in chains, and not acting on his feelings because of Kincaid's loss and their situation; a near-romance against the backdrop of a hostile environment.
- Seneca and Kincaid having a disagreement and arguing with each other (this usually centers around Seneca's cavalier attitude about his safety and security). Kincaid holds his ground when he thinks he's right, and Seneca holds his ground when he feels challenged or that Kincaid isn't on his side.
