Titles / What do they call each other?
Seneca is addressed as 'Your Majesty' the first time and then 'sir' afterward. His name is styled King Seneca as you'd expect with a royal family line who all shared the same surname. So when in formal company, Kincaid calls Seneca "Your Majesty" or "Sir." In private he uses "Sen," and in more serious moments he uses "Seneca." The reverse is true for Seneca (Captain in public, Kin in private, Kincaid as a more formal alternative).
What rating are you looking for?
PG-13 or non-sexual R-18. Gruesome war flashbacks, sex mentions, or dream sequences are a-ok, but if we met you on a certain PG-13 forum site we can't trade for adult goods.
How modern is your setting?
It's a fictional equivalent of our current world. Their technology is essentially the same as ours, but they don't have some specific things: nuclear power/weapons, satellites (so no GPS; they navigate by maps), and drones.
What's the status of their relationship?
They're a couple, but they're the only ones who know it. To the rest of the world, even their closest coworkers, they're simply inseparable best friends. Because of the perilous political situation that surrounds them, it is critical that no one discover the true nature of their relationship, so they maintain their platonic charade with the utmost care.
Do either of them swear / what swears do they use?
Seneca never swears, not even "Oh my god." Kincaid only swears rarely, and can use "God" but he doesn't use "Jesus Christ" or any Earth-specific derivatives.
Can I write something that includes secondary characters?
We would strongly prefer the focus of the story be on Seneca and Kincaid. If you feel like you need a supporting cast to play with, ask us, we can provide them.
Was Hanne male or female?
Nonbinary, they/them.
